Ma'alaea Harbor, Maui
The crew consistently stands out as the highlight here. Guests rave about staff members like Russell, Logan, Marleigh, Savannah, and Alexandria who go above and beyond with their friendliness, safety focus, and genuine care for passengers. The boats themselves are impressively maintained with spotless bathrooms, quality snorkel equipment, and smooth sailing even in choppy conditions. Multiple reviewers mention how well-trained and professional everyone is, creating a relaxed yet organized atmosphere throughout. Food quality exceeds typical boat tour expectations. Instead of pre-made sandwiches, they grill fresh burgers, hot dogs, and chicken onboard. The POG drink (passion fruit, orange, guava) gets special mentions, and little touches like cookies and brownies make the experience feel more thoughtful. Tours typically include stops at Molokini Crater and Turtle Town for snorkeling, with guests spotting vibrant coral, sea turtles, and tropical fish. The crew provides thorough instructions for first-timers and has plenty of flotation equipment. One reviewer appreciated how accommodating staff was with their disability, while another praised the crew's compassionate response when they got seasick. Families with young kids and adult groups alike seem to have equally wonderful experiences.
Highlight of our trip. Top notch captain and crew. The ‘Elua is the premier boat in the harbor. The crew and captain are so on the ball and friendly it is unbelievable. And to mention the actual trip- snorkeling in turquoise clear warm waters with turtles and tropical reefs and fish, to finish with a fresh grilled lunch and a cocktail. Life does not get better. Thanks to these people for our wonderful day. 🤙
