Savannah, Georgia
Captains Bryan and Matt have built a serious reputation along the Savannah coast, and it's easy to see why. Repeat customers are a consistent theme here, with some guests returning year after year and others booking a second trip before their first one even wraps up. The experiences range from shark tooth and Megalodon fossil hunting to island exploration, dolphin watching, and sunset cruises, and both captains seem equally skilled at reading what a group actually wants and tailoring the trip around it. What comes through strongly across the reviews is the depth of local knowledge these guys bring. Guests frequently mention learning about the area's history, wildlife, and natural environment in ways that felt genuinely engaging rather than scripted. Finding Megalodon teeth seems to happen more often than you'd expect, and for those who came specifically for that, it clearly delivered. Families with young kids, couples, friend groups, and solo travelers all report feeling comfortable and well taken care of on the water.
The boat cruise and Daufuskie island adventure with Captain Matt was the highlight of our trip to Savannah. Matt was knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and fun. If/ when we are back that way, we will certainly book with Low Country Drifters again. Book your boat adventure with them if you find yourself in the Savannah area!
