Itinerary

Martini departs from the International Yacht Restoration School and heads into Newport Harbor, passing through Brenton Cove by the iconic Lime Rock Lighthouse—home to the Ida Lewis Yacht Club. From there, you’ll cruise by the New York Yacht Club and a line of classic waterfront estates, including Bonniecrest—tied to the American importers of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce—along with Beechbound and Beacon Rock. The route continues along Fort Adams, where you’ll often see Sail Newport sailors training on the water.

From there, we pass Goat Island, where superyachts line the docks beneath the Newport Bridge, followed by the Goat Island Lighthouse and the historic Point neighborhood, known for its colonial homes. We then cruise by Newport Shipyard, home to some of the largest yachts in the harbor, before passing the local fishing fleet and the Thames Street waterfront—before returning to dock.
