Important details
- Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled ride time for check-in
- Ages 7+ only
- Weight limit 250 lbs
- Requires mounting and dismounting the horse independently
- Pregnant riders cannot participate
- Complete a liability waiver before riding; a parent or court-appointed guardian must complete waivers for minors
- Bring court documentation if you are a court-appointed or child welfare guardian signing for a minor
- Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes; flip-flops, sandals, Crocs, high heels, and boots with heels over 1 inch are not permitted
- Wear jackets rather than tying them around your waist
- Leave bags, purses, and backpacks off the horse during the ride
- Stay hydrated before your ride
- Ride at a walking pace only; running, trotting, and cantering are not permitted
- Remain with the wrangler and follow all staff instructions
- Smoking and alcohol are not permitted before or during the ride
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before your ride for a full refund. Cancel 24–48 hours before for a 50% refund. Same-day cancellations are not refunded.

FAQs
Wear jeans or pants (no shorts above the knee) and closed-toe shoes. Do not wear flip flops, sandals, Crocs, or high heels; boot heels must be no more than 1 inch. Wear any jacket you bring (do not wrap it around your waist).
No. The horses do not run, canter, or trot on this ride due to the desert terrain and ground-burrowing animals. Ride at a walk and stay with staff at all times.
Helmets are not required, but the center highly recommends them. They provide helmets at no charge; if you refuse, you must sign off on the refusal.
