Itinerary
- Arrival: Meet the captain at Cangrejos Yacht Club 30 minutes early. Free, guarded parking.
- Departure: A calm ride out past the coast to open water, beyond 3 nautical miles.
- Ceremony: Time for readings, music and flowers, then the release of the ashes.
- Farewell: A slow circle around the spot while the captain records the GPS coordinates.
- Return: A quiet ride back to the dock.

Important details
- Maximum 6 family members on board, with no exceptions.
- Bring the cremated remains to the marina. Cremation services and transport of the remains are not included.
- Only cremated remains may be released. Anything placed in the water must be fully biodegradable, with no plastic, metal, wire or ribbon.
- Go barefoot or wear soft boat shoes on board. Remove other shoes at boarding.
- The captain chooses the ceremony location on the day, always beyond 3 nautical miles from shore.
- Arrive 30 minutes before departure.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before departure for a full refund. Cancellations 24–48 hours before departure incur a 50% fee; cancellations within 24 hours are nonrefundable. If wind or waves make the trip unsafe or too rough for a peaceful ceremony, you'll receive free rescheduling or a full refund.

Yes. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) burial-at-sea report is filed for you within 30 days of your memorial.
The ash scattering service departs at 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM only. Mornings are usually calmest, but sea conditions vary daily.
The captain checks the marine forecast and confirms sea conditions with you by phone or WhatsApp the day before departure.
