Flight, glacier landing, shuttle
Explore Alaska's icefields on a private Robinson R44 helicopter tour with a glacier landing. Take in the landscape from above, then step out for a closer look on the ice.
On this extended tour, you’ll have an extra 30 minutes to fly by the second-largest tidewater glacier in Alaska. You’ll see seals resting on floating icebergs and look for goats on mountain cliffs. The Columbia Glacier is the fastest receding tidewater glacier in Alaska. Due to its massive size and incredible crevasses, you may even see huge chunks of ice calving off into the ocean on your trip. (1-hour flight, 30-minutes on the glacier).
You will have photo/video opportunities in the air as well as adventure time on the ground to explore. After touring the Alaskan landscape and looking for wildlife by air, your pilot will find the perfect place to land on a glacier, where you can get out and drink glacier water, throw rocks into a moulin, or just walk around and explore.
Cancel 7 or more days before your tour for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days incur a 50% cancellation fee. Within 24 hours, no refund applies and the full price is charged. If the operator cancels due to weather, you'll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
