Private Dolphin Tour in Savannah’s Lowcountry

Shark tooth hunting here has turned into a repeat trip for many visitors, and it's easy to see why. Guides like Nick, Kara, and Captain Buddy bring a genuine enthusiasm and deep knowledge to every outing, helping guests find far more than just shark teeth. Fossils from mastodons, sperm whales, and even megalodon show up regularly, along with old cobblestones and pottery shards that make the whole experience feel like a real treasure hunt. First-timers consistently note that they were skeptical before going but came away with handfuls of finds. Beyond the shark tooth excursions, the marina also runs sunset cruises, water taxi service to Daufuski Island, and dolphin-spotting trips, all with the same well-reviewed crew. One reviewer noted the experience may work better for kids 12 and up, since the hunting involves spotting very small items across a large beach. Wearing water shoes is a tip that comes up more than once. Overall, the vibe is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun, and the high volume of repeat visitors says a lot about what to expect.
