Important details
- Private tours have no minimum age; travelers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
- Requires the fitness to carry a light backpack and walk for the tour with multiple breaks
- Bring at least 1 liter of water; 2 liters is recommended
- Bring a rain jacket, layers, sun protection, and footwear with quality traction
- Flip-flops are not allowed; closed-toe shoes or hiking boots are recommended due to varied terrain and cacti
- Tours operate rain or shine when conditions are deemed safe
Cancellation Policy
Cancel 30+ days ahead for a 100% refund minus a $20 processing fee; 15–29 days for 80% minus $20; 7–14 days for 50% minus $20; 0–6 days are nonrefundable. Full refund if the operator cancels before the tour starts due to unsafe conditions. No refund for a mid-tour cancellation due to dangerous conditions.
