Check in at the marina Arrive 15 minutes before departure at Oceans Edge Resort & Marina, 5950 Peninsular Ave., Key West. Follow any updated instructions in your text message the night before. Settle any remaining balance and complete the required waivers.

Meet your crew and board Sanctuary Meet your captain and mate, get settled aboard our 47-foot Hatteras, and receive a safety briefing. Let the crew know your fishing interests and experience.

Head to the fishing grounds Your captain chooses fishing locations based on your booked trip length, weather, sea conditions, and seasonal fish activity.

Enjoy offshore fishing Your crew provides equipment and guidance throughout the trip. Between fishing opportunities, you can take a break in Sanctuary’s air-conditioned cabin.

Return to the marina Return at the end of your booked charter. The crew will clean and bag any legally retained catches.
Your selected trip duration includes travel to and from the fishing grounds. Fishing locations and techniques may vary, and catches are not guaranteed.

Important details
- A required $150 fuel surcharge applies per private charter and is not included in the listed price. Crew gratuity is also separate; the customary amount is 15–20%.
- Complete and sign a waiver for every person, including children, before boarding.
- Disclose any medical condition, injury, mobility limitation, or other condition affecting participation or safety both on the waiver and verbally to the captain or crew before departure.
- Wait for permission before boarding. Attend the safety briefing and follow the captain’s and crew’s instructions throughout the trip.
- No glass containers are allowed aboard.
This booking is for the whole experience, which fits up to 6 guests.
Cancellation Policy
Give 7 days' notice to cancel. With less notice, you can reschedule for a fee. Bookings made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. No-shows forfeit the fare. You'll receive a full refund if the operator cancels, including for adverse weather or mechanical issues. Seasickness is not grounds for a refund.

Yes. All ages are welcome on the private fishing charter. The maximum is 6 people total, including children, infants, and anyone who is not fishing.
Yes. Parking is free at the marina. After passing the gate guard, turn left into the guest parking lot.
Bring your own lunch, snacks, drinking water, and preferred drinks. Adult beverages are welcome aboard Sanctuary. Coolers and ice are provided; no glass containers are allowed.
