Private tour, Guide
Explore beyond Denver on a private guided driving tour that brings together mountain landscapes, geological history, and Colorado's mining heritage.
This tour will start at 5280 feet in Denver at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. The Visitor Center educates you about the 300 million years of history that it took to form the unique crimson rock formations Then we proceed up beautiful Bear Creek Canyon Road on the way to the nice quaint town of Evergreen. Venturing on from Evergreen we will go up some of the most majestic mountain passes with spectacular views of mountain ranges and then onto Mount Evans. Mount Evans has the highest paved road in the United States and is home to many mountain goats and other wild animals. After visiting Mount Evans a quick stop in Idaho Springs will give you a chance to have some coffee and stretch one's legs as well as learn about the mining history of the area.
