Gary and his team of guides (including Meagan, Meg, Cari, and Remi) have created something special here. The horses are athletic, responsive, and well-trained—several with competitive polocrosse backgrounds—and they handle both beginners and experienced riders with ease. Guides take time at the start to ensure everyone's comfortable in the corral before heading out, which sets a relaxed, confident tone for the whole experience. The terrain itself is the real star: challenging elevation changes, rocky climbs, and stunning hilltop overlooks across Texas Hill Country that reviewers consistently describe as breathtaking. The two-hour ranch ride includes a scenic rest stop with snacks and drinks at an elevated viewpoint. Guides are knowledgeable, patient, and personable enough that multiple visitors mention feeling like they were riding with a friend. Just note that the entrance near the Blanco River is unmarked and tricky to find with GPS, so allow extra time and keep their contact info handy.
The best trail ride my wife and I had been on. Great horses, time was taken to ride in the corral to be sure we were confident with the horse. Trails had elevation changes and wonderful overlooks over the Texas hill country. Thanks for the experience!
