Private Guided Scuba Drift Dive at Blue Spring State Park

Drift through freshwater spring waters with a private guide and support tailored to your comfort

    Includes

    Private guide, Early park access

    Highlights

Explore Blue Spring on a private, shore-based drift dive with the park's exclusive dive tour provider. Follow the spring-fed current between designated entry and exit points, with your guide beside you throughout. Get personalized help with navigation, buoyancy checks and exit positioning along a route tailored to your skill and comfort level.

    • Enter the park before public opening, with guaranteed access for listed divers
    • Prepare in a private staging area with benches, a short walk from the diver-only water entry
    • Dive in freshwater that stays at 72°F / 22°C year-round
    • Look for bass, gar, turtles and aquatic plants along the spring run; wildlife sightings are not guaranteed

    What's Included

    • First air tank
    • Personalized dive-site and safety briefing

    Important details

    • Valid Open Water scuba certification or higher is required. Bring a physical or digital certification card and proof of your last dive for check-in.
    • Requires competent swimming, independent equipment operation and basic dive competence. This dive can be physically demanding and is guided, not instructional; you remain responsible for your own air supply and depth.
    • Present your digital or printed booking confirmation and a driver's license or government-issued ID matching the reservation name at the park entrance.
    • Park admission is not included in the listed price. You'll pay separately on arrival: $6 per vehicle with two to eight people, $4 for a single-occupant vehicle, or $2 for pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers and passengers traveling with an Annual Individual Entrance Pass holder. Park rates are subject to change.
    • Maintained, functioning scuba equipment is required. If using your own gear, bring a buoyancy compensator, regulator with an alternate second stage, dive computer or timing device with depth gauge, pressure gauge, scuba-quality mask, fins, snorkel, dive boots, dive light and weights. Horse-collar buoyancy compensators are not permitted.
    • Cutting devices, dive floats, dive flags, reels, surface marker buoys, sidemount setups, closed-circuit rebreathers and double-cylinder setups are prohibited.
    • Listen to the safety briefing, ask questions if anything is unclear, follow your guide's instructions and communicate any discomfort or problems. Unsafe or uncooperative behavior may end your participation.
    • Do not approach, touch, chase, feed or disturb manatees, or block their path. Do not collect or disturb fossils, rocks, artifacts, plants or other natural materials; climb or stand on embankments or spring walls; or carve or damage natural surfaces.
    • Drugs, alcohol, intoxication and weapons are prohibited. Hunting tools, spearguns, collection devices, fishing equipment and metal detectors are not permitted. Intoxication or possession of prohibited items results in removal from the tour.
    • Your guide may delay, modify or cancel the dive if weather or environmental conditions are unsafe.
    • Check in at least 30 minutes before departure. Allow extra time for entrance traffic on weekends, holidays and peak summer days. Late arrival may mean denied access or reduced dive time.

    Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least 14 days before your tour for a 50% refund. Less notice, late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable. Tours run rain or shine; personal weather preferences follow these terms. If the operator cancels for unsafe weather, you'll receive a full refund or free rescheduling. Other rescheduling costs $50 per booking each time; the new date must be within 90 days.
