    Highlights

Explore Yellowstone with a private local naturalist guide whose wildlife knowledge is grounded in years of living, working, and teaching in the park. Your guide draws on reports from the local wildlife-watching network to find promising viewing locations. Spend the prime early-morning hours watching from roadside viewpoints, with time to focus on lesser-known species as the morning warms.

    • Search for wolves, grizzly bears, and bison in their natural habitat
    • Explore the wildlife-rich Lamar Valley and surrounding areas, where tours usually venture
    • Add a short hike tailored to your interests and ability, or keep the focus on roadside wildlife watching

    • High-powered binoculars and spotting scopes
    • Equipment for taking phone photos and videos through spotting scopes
