Guide, snacks, transport
Hike through Ketchikan’s rainforest on Lunch Creek Trail, then visit a totem park to see Alaska Native totem poles and a clan house. Your local guide shares stories of the forest and local culture along the way.
The trail is a well-maintained gravel path with several sets of stairs and uphill/downhill sections.
Full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price.
If you’re booked with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), meet at the Ward Cove Dock in the Welcoming Center. If you’re arriving with a different cruise line, you will more than likely dock downtown and meet next to the statue called "The Rock" by the Ketchikan Visitor Center.
Expect about a 45-minute to 1-hour rainforest walk on the Lunch Creek Trail (about 1.5 miles roundtrip). The gravel trail is well maintained but includes several sets of stairs and some uphill/downhill sections.
Yes. The tour is listed for all ages, and you can ask about a scavenger hunt for kids. You can also try geocaching, which is like a treasure hunt using a GPS.

This tour was excellent to get us out into nature and see some of the beauties of Alaska up close. Our guide, Gatlin, was knowledgeable and very friendly. We loved hearing about the city, seeing the rainforest, and exploring the shore.
