This sanctuary has built a loyal following for good reason. The rescued animals are well cared for, the grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the staff consistently earns praise for being warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their work. Visitors return year after year, some coming back for a sixth stay in the on-site tiny houses, and special events like the turkey celebration draw equally enthusiastic crowds. Tours cover the stories behind the rescued animals and touch on broader issues with factory farming, so it's worth knowing ahead of time that the experience leans into animal welfare advocacy. Parents of young children may want to ask about content before booking, as some of the imagery and stories can be intense for sensitive kids. For adults and older children who come with open minds, most find it eye-opening and genuinely moving.

A truly beautiful farm sanctuary, with kind and helpful staff and the most precious, friendly animals. So glad we got to tour and learn about all the animals and what this organization does. I took a walk around the pastures after our tour was over and was overcome with appreciation for the scenic and moral beauty of this place.
