Itinerary

• Check-in at Jetties Sailing Center
• Complete and pass Open Sailing Quiz if it is your first time renting this season.
• Get fitted for a Life-Jacket and test VHF Radio
• Shuttle out to boat
• Rig (ask for assistance if needed!)
• Sail in Open Sailing Area
• Return to mooring (any mooring in our zone is fine!)
• De-rig (ask for assistance if needed!)
• Call for a pick-up on VHF Channel 67
• Shuttle to shore
• Check-out at Jetties Sailing Center and return Life-Jacket and VHF Radio

Important details

• Ages 5+ only; ages 5–17 require a caregiver, and a guardian must sign a waiver
• Arrive 15 minutes early and pass the Open Sailing Quiz if this is your first rental of the season
• Wear closed-toe shoes and a Type III life vest; bring your own or use one provided
• Expect to get wet and wade through up to knee-deep water to reach the boat at low tide
• Sail only within the Open Sailing Area
• A credit card is required
• Accept the waiver and terms before participating
• Expect rentals to be limited or canceled when weather or safety conditions require it
