Itinerary
1. Fill out your pre-arrival waivers
2. Arrive at Trek & Trail 15-minutes prior to your tour
3. 4. Receive a ~30 min paddling tutorial at the beach
5. Spend ~1.5 hours on the water exploring navigating to Sand Island
6. Paddle along the swallow point sea caves on your way to lunch
7. Enjoy a gourmet lunch on at the historic lighthouse or on a sand beach to rest and recharge. Lighthouse tours are sometimes available during the peak summer months
8. Make the return paddle to the beach, visiting the sea caves once again on your way back
9. Return to Trek & Trail by 4-5 PM

Important details
- Arrive 15 minutes before departure
- Complete the required digital waiver at least 24 hours before the trip
- Ages 14+ only
- Ages 14–17 must paddle in a tandem kayak with a member of their party, and an adult age 18+ must accompany minors
- All participants age 14+ are expected to paddle
- Requires walking up and down two flights of stairs, lifting 20 lbs, and sitting on the floor for up to 2.5 hours
- Guests over 275 lbs cannot participate; guests over 250 lbs require a kayak fit test before the tour
- Wear a wetsuit when required by air and water temperatures
- Trips run rain or shine but may be canceled for unsafe wind, waves, thunder, or lightning
Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations more than 72 hours before departure. No refund for cancellations within 72 hours or no-shows. If the operator cancels due to high winds, waves, or thunderstorms, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

FAQs
Participants over 250 lbs must complete a kayak fit test before the tour. Participants over 275 lbs cannot join due to safety concerns.
On the Sand Island full-day paddle, you may share a tandem kayak with someone from another odd-numbered party or with a guide, depending on the group.
Complete the digital waiver, including the lunch questionnaire, at least 24 hours before your trip so sandwich orders can be submitted.
