Explore Savannah’s squares and green spaces on a fully outdoor, 2-hour walking tour focused on local plants and garden ironwork. Learn how to identify iconic plant life and the traditional uses and symbolism tied to what you see.
The first third of the tour is mostly walking and standing. Public restrooms are only available near the end of the route.

Bring your ticket confirmation (digital is accepted), comfortable walking shoes, and weather-appropriate attire. Water is encouraged (especially in summer), and if rain is expected, bring an umbrella or raincoat.
There are parking garages and street parking near the starting location at Columbia Square. Street parking is also available near the ending location at Forsyth Park and between the start and end points—budget time to find a space and walk to the start.
