Travelers rave about the personalized sailing experiences with captains Dylan, Russ, Mark, and Amy, who consistently earn praise for being knowledgeable, friendly, and adaptable to each group's vibe. The intimate boat size means you're sailing alongside your captain rather than being passengers on a large vessel, which guests genuinely enjoy as it creates a relaxed, conversational atmosphere. Trips range from Lake Union tours packed with Seattle history and floating home facts to sunset sails on Puget Sound where you might even spot a humpback whale. The flexibility really stands out. Guests mention last-minute rescheduling, accommodating photo-loving groups, and captains who excel at reading the room, whether you want engaging conversation or peaceful moments together. The Lake Union tour gets specific shout-outs for maritime history and unique Seattle perspectives, while the Puget Sound sails deliver those stunning mountain and city views. Even when weather doesn't cooperate, captains keep things positive and work around it. Perfect for celebrations, family outings, or anyone wanting an authentic Seattle sailing experience without the cruise ship crowds.
What a great way to spend a beautiful sunny afternoon! Captain Russ Baker was incredibly nice, and his skill as a sailor was fully on display since it’s just him operating the boat! As someone who gets nervous on the water (and is prone to nausea) I was quite surprised how at ease I was. I credit the smooth sailing and wonderful company of friends for putting me at ease! Couldn’t recommend Candere Cruising enough!
