Sail Seattle’s harbor at sunset with skyline views and an onboard bar
2 Hours
2-hr sail, restrooms
Set sail on Puget Sound for a 2-hour evening cruise as the sun drops behind the Olympic Peninsula and Seattle lights up. Relax on wide decks, sip a drink from the onboard bar, or help the crew raise sails.
Drinks and light snacks are available for purchase, and outside alcohol is not allowed. The historic vessel cannot accommodate wheelchairs; walkers and canes are welcome (strollers may need to stay ashore on busy sails).
All public sail tickets are final unless you’ve added Trip Cancellation Protection. If the operator cancels due to weather, safety concerns, a private charter, or another unforeseen circumstance, you can choose to reschedule, receive credit, or get a full refund.
Arrive at least 20 minutes before departure to check in.
Bring a jacket or warm layer (it can get breezy and cooler at sunset), plus sunscreen and sunglasses. Bring your ID if you plan to buy drinks from the bar, and bring cash if you want to tip the crew.
Bring your own picnic if you’d like. Do not bring outside alcohol; drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are available for purchase on board.
This sailing experience consistently delivers exactly what travelers hope for: a relaxing two-hour cruise around Elliott Bay with genuinely friendly crew members who make the trip special. The crew stands out repeatedly in reviews, with Clark, Daisy, Madison, Ben, and Molly earning individual shoutouts for their attentiveness and warm personalities. Guests love getting hands-on with raising the sails, and the views of the Seattle skyline are stunning. Drinks are available for purchase onboard, and you're welcome to bring your own food, though the marine-style bathroom requires typical sailboat etiquette. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between engaging and peaceful. You can chat with the knowledgeable crew or simply find a spot along the rails to soak in the scenery. Some visitors spot seals and sea lions, while others catch sunset views or glimpses of Mount Rainier on clear days. A few guests wished for more narration about the sights and history during the sail, and it's worth knowing the boat doesn't venture far out. Dress warmly since it gets chilly and windy on the water, even on nice days.
Top tier birthday experience. Knowledgeable and friendly crew. Sailing tours aren’t something we did previously, but now we’re determined to come back every season!
