The reviews here paint a picture of a tight-knit residential community in downtown Seattle, where location and character are the clear standout qualities. Residents consistently rave about the building's old-world charm, surprisingly spacious units, and a prime spot within walking distance of Pike Place Market, Capitol Hill, and major transit routes. The surrounding parks give it an unexpectedly peaceful feel for city living. Property manager Penny earns glowing praise across nearly every review, described as responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in her residents. Maintenance has also been called out positively, with staff handling requests quickly and treating tenants with respect. A handful of reviewers noted limited amenities and a couple had frustrating move-out experiences, so it's worth going in with clear expectations about what the building offers and doesn't offer. Overall, the sentiment leans warmly positive, with many tenants renewing leases and speaking fondly of the community even after moving on. For anyone drawn to historic buildings with personality, a walkable urban location, and attentive management, this seems like a genuinely appealing place to call home.
*Old review no longer 100% aplicable* I just love this place, the staff, and it's location. Old time charm right in the middle of a modern city, unique and full of character. It's also surprisingly quiet for living in the city, for you are surrounded by Seattle's coolest city parks on 2 sides. You are also within a 15 minute walk to Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Capitol Hill, and to all and any major bus routes.
