Important details
- Age 18+ required to book. Ages 12–17 may paddle only with an adult present on the water at all times. Children under 12 may ride only as passengers in tandem kayaks.
- Weight limits: 275 lbs for single kayaks and 550 lbs for tandem kayaks.
- Park entry is not included in the listed price: a $8 daily entry fee or a $28 state park sticker is required.
- A $10 fee applies per item left unlocked. This charge is not included in the listed price.
- Late returns incur the full hourly rental rate for every 30 minutes overdue, beyond the listed price.
- Lost or damaged paddles and life jackets incur an additional $25 charge each. Lost or damaged kayaks incur repair costs or the retail replacement cost. These charges are not included in the listed price.
- Complete waivers on the day of your rental, before your rental time. Ensure everyone in your group completes theirs; you are responsible for anyone who does not. Equipment unlock combinations are sent after waiver completion.
- Wear a life jacket whenever using a kayak. Follow posted rules and use only the equipment included in your rental.
- Check the weather before launching. Do not launch during thunder, lightning, excessive wind, or other unsafe conditions.
- Return all equipment on time and lock it up after use.
- Arrive 15 minutes early to unlock your equipment and get on the water on time.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund or credit. With less notice, partial refunds or credits are discretionary. If the operator cancels due to weather or other circumstances, you'll receive a full refund or credit. Rentals may proceed in slight rain. No-shows are charged in full with no refund.

Yes. Parking is available nearby, and bathrooms are by the Harbor House.
Wear quick-drying clothes and shoes you don't mind getting wet. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks, a towel, and a change of clothes. Pack your phone and keys in a dry bag or watertight case; cell service can be spotty. Keep any trash for disposal when you return to the launch.
