Explore Sequoia National Park's night sky with astronomy educators and night-sky guides. Compare broad naked-eye views with detailed digital telescope imagery.
Meet: Gather at the Wuksachi Lodge Lobby for a warm welcome, introductions, and a brief safety talk.
Explore: Dark sky viewing opportunities with two different telescopes, one of which will offer traditional viewing through an eyepiece. While the other telescope offers views by way of Electronically Assisted Astronomy (EAA)
Return: Conclude the evening back at the lodge, with memories of a night spent marveling at the cosmos.

The Night Sky Telescope Experience depends on weather. Cloudy skies may lead to cancellation or rescheduling, with notice provided as early as possible.
Yes. The program is wheelchair accessible, and assisted listening devices are available upon request.
Yes. Each participant, including infants, needs an individual reservation. Group reservations are not permitted.
