- Bring a current printed Alaska Department of Fish and Game fishing license before departure; children under 16 do not need one
- Bring a King Salmon Stamp if you wish to retain a King Salmon
- Half-day charters mainly target rockfish and do not target or retain halibut
- Do not bring bananas or banana-related products aboard
- Do not bring hard alcohol or marijuana aboard; beer and wine are allowed, but intoxication is not tolerated

- Expect a fuel surcharge not included in the listed price if marine fuel exceeds $4.50 per gallon: $10–$40 per person per day, depending on fuel price

Cancellation Policy
A $10 cancellation fee applies. Cancel 30+ days before for a 90% refund; 15–29 days for 75%; or 0–14 days for 50% only if the trip is rebooked. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather. Rain does not qualify as a weather cancellation.

FAQs
Dress in layers, ideally synthetic or wool, and bring waterproof outer layers. Pack a warm hat, light gloves, sunscreen, and any medication you need. Non-slip, waterproof footwear is recommended.
If you are prone to seasickness or unsure, take motion-sickness medication in advance and follow its directions. Avoid planning a big night out before your half-day charter.
The crew cleans and fillets your catch, and you can take it to a processor of your choice for packaging, freezing, or shipping.
