Seward Halibut Fishing Charter

Target halibut aboard a Seward charter focused on Alaska's prized flatfish. Fish a captain-selected route that may change with weather conditions for passenger safety.

• Cast for halibut in waters ranging from 50 to 1,000 feet deep
• Follow a route selected for the day's conditions and safety
• Capture photos of your catch after returning to the harbor
• Watch your catch be filleted back at the harbor

Important details

• Arrive at the dock between 6:30 and 6:45 AM with your fishing license; the boat departs at 7 AM
• Carry a King Salmon Stamp in addition to your fishing license if you plan to keep King Salmon
• Ages 8+ are recommended; younger participants may join at their legal guardian's discretion
• Bring layered clothing, rain gear, wet-ready shoes or rubber boots, sunscreen, sunglasses, food, drinks, and plenty of drinking water
• Leave bananas behind
• Use only small handheld coolers; large and rolling coolers are not allowed
• Bring alcohol only in non-glass containers and be considerate of others
• Expect a fuel surcharge not included in the listed price if fuel costs more than $4.00 per gallon
• Follow safety procedures; dangerous or inappropriate behavior may lead the captain to end the trip
