This ghost tour operation has clearly figured out the magic formula: phenomenal guides who know how to balance history with entertainment. What stands out most is how many reviewers specifically name-drop their guides, with Mike emerging as a particular favorite across multiple reviews. People rave about his storytelling abilities, how he keeps large groups engaged, and his entertaining delivery that's apparently just the right amount of "sPoOkY." Ryan, Kitty, and Jake also get enthusiastic callouts for their historical knowledge and personal touches that make the experience memorable rather than just another scripted walk-through. The consistent thread here is that these aren't your typical tour guides droning through rehearsed facts. Kitty gets praised for making pirates and ghosts "feel real and exciting" through genuine storytelling rather than just reciting information. Sarah Jane apparently takes people to fascinating spots they'd never discover on their own, while Steve brings a "fun and chill" energy to the spookiness. Even Abagail earns appreciation for being a trooper who went out after a rainstorm. The pub crawl option seems particularly popular for those wanting to mix their ghost stories with drinks. With this many glowing reviews and specific guide recommendations, travelers can feel confident booking here, though you might want to request one of the frequently mentioned names if you're particular about your experience.

What people are saying

If you’re looking at ghost tours in St. Augustine and trying to decide which one to book, stop scrolling and book the Ghost Pub Crawl — and if Steve is your guide, you hit the jackpot. Steve was absolutely hilarious and hands-down one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. He had the whole group laughing, kept the energy up all night, and somehow managed to make the history and ghost stories genuinely interesting without it ever feeling rehearsed or cheesy. That’s not easy to pull off, but he nailed it. The pub stops were fun, the stories were creepy, the history was actually fascinating, and the entire crawl had a laid-back, fun atmosphere from start to finish. It felt less like being on a tour and more like hanging out with a really entertaining local who knows every wild, haunted story in town. This ended up being one of the most memorable things we did in St. Augustine. We were still talking and laughing about it afterward. Seriously — BOOK IT. And Steve, if you see this, you’re a legend. Thanks for making our night. 🍻👻 10/10 would absolutely do it again.
