Know before you go
- Renters must be at least 26 years old
- Have at least two years operating a similar vessel within 10 feet, with no marine losses in 10 years, violations or suspensions in 5 years, or criminal convictions or no-contest pleas
- Hold a boater's license if born after January 1, 1988
- Present a driver's license or passport at check-in
- Have all passengers sign a release waiver
- Stay within the Intracoastal and Sarasota Bay area; Gulf of Mexico travel is not permitted
- Remain no farther north than the south end of Longboat Key or south than the Venice Jetties
- Accept responsibility for property damage and liability for injuries to you and your passengers
