This marina has built a genuinely loyal following, and it's easy to see why. Long-term boat owners rave about the staff's attentiveness and care, with one family crediting them as the reason they've kept their boat here for five years. The docks are well-maintained, the grounds are clean, and the boat launch ramp gets solid marks too. Beyond the boating side, it doubles as a surprisingly enjoyable destination on its own. Visitors stop by to walk around, grab a cold drink or slush, watch the boats, and even hike out to the Jefferson Memorial. The setting along the water gives it a relaxed, scenic vibe that keeps people coming back. The parking lot could use some attention, but that's a minor footnote in an otherwise consistently positive picture. With a beautiful location, solid amenities, and staff that people genuinely appreciate, this place earns its reputation as a hidden gem worth knowing about.
Wonderful place to kayak. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s very peaceful and a great place to be on the water.
