Know before you go

• Bring a valid ID and complete the required waiver before arrival
• Ages 14+ may paddle independently; paddlers under 14 require an adult in a tandem kayak or canoe
• Wear swimwear or athletic clothing that can get wet, plus water shoes or strapped sandals
• Park entry fees are not included in the listed price and are paid on arrival: $6 per 2–8 occupant vehicle, $4 per single-occupant vehicle, or $2 per pedestrian
• Return equipment before closing; late returns incur fees of $50 per vessel or item, increasing to $75 after 30 minutes and by $75 for each additional 30 minutes
• Expect rescue or recovery fees starting at $100; Sea Tow fees start at $350 if staff cannot recover the equipment
