Look for migrating eagles from the comfort of a heated drift boat

Guide, heated boat, bus transfer
Explore the Skagit on a quiet, guided river float designed for nature watching and photography. Keep your camera ready as you look for the bald eagles that return to the river each year.
We meet at Howard Miller Steelhead Park and from there we transport you up river by bus to Marblemount WA. Once we arrive in Marblemount we will get the boats in the water, fire the propane heaters off, have a brief safety meeting and then set off for a 9-mile drift through the Bald Eagle sanctuary. During your tour our experienced guide will give you information about the eagles, salmon runs and the intricate roles they play on this beautiful river.
Cancellations are non-refundable. Arriving after the scheduled meetup time counts as a no-show and cancels your trip without refund. You may send someone else in your place at no extra charge. If your canceled spaces are filled, a $50 per-person cancellation fee applies.

Wear warm layers and boots or waterproof shoes for the river float. You may walk through mud or water up to 6 inches deep. Bring rain pants and a raincoat if rain is forecast, plus water and a camera.
For the eagle tour, bring a 200–400 mm lens and a 500 mm lens if available. Separate camera bodies help you switch between close and distant subjects. A monopod, especially with a gimbal head, is recommended; you can also bring a tripod.
Tips are optional and separate from the listed price. Your guide accepts and appreciates gratuities for good service.
