Get off at University Street Station, exit and head west to 1st Avenue toward the water. Turn right on 1st Avenue and walk north a couple of blocks; the Information Booth is on the southwest corner of First and Pike.
If you’re driving, leave extra early due to possible extreme morning-commute delays. Parking is suggested at the 7-story garage at Third and Stewart; it’s about a five-minute walk to the meeting point. Arrive by 9:30 for an early-bird 10-hour rate.
Dress appropriately for the weather, wear good walking shoes, and make sure your camera/phone batteries are fully charged (spares are suggested if you have them).
Terry, Dale, Woody, and Karl lead tours around Seattle and the surrounding region, including popular trips to Snoqualmie Falls and the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Across a wide range of travelers, the guides consistently earn praise for their deep local knowledge, punctuality, and genuine warmth. Multiple reviewers specifically highlighted the photography tips offered along the way, which adds a layer of value you don't typically expect from a city tour. The itineraries feel well-paced, with enough stops to feel immersive without rushing. Standout moments include Kerry Park views, the falls, and the tulip fields in full bloom. Families with kids, first-time tour-goers, and seasoned travelers all seem to walk away happy, which says something about how adaptable the guides are. One small note: the bus may be branded differently than expected at pickup, so just confirm those details when booking to avoid any confusion at departure.
Dont stress and book a tour with Shutter Tours 🙌 Dale was awesome! One of the nicest people you'll meet in Seattle. My wife booked the tour and she absolutely enjoyed it, she's a little bit of a worrier but they stayed on schedule, had great tips and really know their way around Seattle. The troll was cool, the fish and chips....the best, falls were beautiful and carry park was an awesome final stop. As a real estate broker I also enjoyed the home value info lol. When we come back we're booking another tour with them. Thank you again!
