Solitary Islands Snorkeling Trip from Coffs Harbour

Explore the sanctuary waters of Solitary Islands Marine Park on an unguided snorkeling trip. A qualified coxswain operates the boat, but no in-water guide is included, making this an outing for experienced snorkelers comfortable exploring independently.

• Explore two snorkel sites with approximately 60–120 minutes in the water while the boat is moored
• Look for tropical and subtropical fish, turtles, and coral in open-ocean waters
• Warm up onboard with tea, coffee, soup, and biscuits between swims

Important details

• Previous snorkeling experience, strong snorkeling skills, and confident swimming ability are required.
• Children of all ages may participate if they meet the swimming and snorkeling requirements. Supervise children at all times.
• Complete the snorkeling indemnity form at least 24 hours before departure.
• Sites are 5–20 m deep, with no shallow areas where you can stand. Expect possible waves, even in sheltered areas. Trips require suitable sea conditions and approximately 15 m minimum visibility.
• Do not feed marine animals or engage in activities that could damage the ecosystem.
• Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure.
