Itinerary
Join us at the North Park boathouse to register or check in for your registration, and complete your waiver.
Then head out to the patio to be fitted for a PFD and given a paddle and safety briefing by our experienced kayak crew.
Our dockside crew will then launch you in your boat for your paddle outing. When you return they will pull you back onto the dock launch.
Important details
- Arrive 10 minutes before your reservation to gear up
- Ages 13+ only for solo kayaks
- Ages 13–15 require a parent or guardian on the water
- Weight limit 320 lbs per solo kayak
- Complete an Acknowledgement & Assumption of Risk Form; a parent or guardian must sign for minors
- Wear comfortable clothing that can get wet
- Leave irreplaceable possessions behind; lost, stolen, or damaged belongings are not covered
Cancellation Policy
Activities run rain or shine. If severe weather or water conditions shorten your rental by more than 30 minutes, receive a full refund or move your booking to a future date.

FAQs
Wear comfortable clothing for the weather that can get wet. Bring sunscreen and you can bring a reusable water bottle in the kayak.
Avoid bringing anything irreplaceable. Venture Outdoors isn’t responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Ages 13–15 can paddle a solo kayak only if a parent or guardian accompanies you on the water. Ages 16–17 can paddle solo, but a parent or guardian must sign an Acknowledgement & Assumption of Risk Form.
