Paddle North Park Lake with a 1- or 2-hour solo kayak rental
1-2 hours
Kayak, PFD, paddle
Rent a solo sit-inside kayak at the North Park Boathouse and spend 1–2 hours exploring North Park Lake at your own pace.
Ages 13–15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the water, and ages 16–17 need a parent or guardian to sign the required risk form. Solo kayaks hold one paddler up to 325 pounds.
Activities proceed rain or shine. If severe weather or water conditions shorten your rental by more than 30 minutes, you will receive a full refund or can move your booking to a future date. If your booking is canceled due to weather or water conditions, you will be alerted via email and text.
Wear comfortable clothing for the weather that can get wet. Bring sunscreen and you can bring a reusable water bottle in the kayak.
Avoid bringing anything irreplaceable. Venture Outdoors isn’t responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Ages 13–15 can paddle a solo kayak only if a parent or guardian accompanies you on the water. Ages 16–17 can paddle solo, but a parent or guardian must sign an Acknowledgement & Assumption of Risk Form.
