All sales are final; no cancellations, refunds, or rescheduling. Bad Weather Guarantee (optional) costs $99 and covers major storms or hurricanes that cancel your tour. Customer-initiated rescheduling has a $100 fee and isn’t allowed within 14 days unless unsafe weather; mechanical issues reschedule free.
Bring sunglasses, a thin quick-dry towel, sunscreen (no spray-on, oils, or zinc products), seasonal clothing, a swimsuit or appropriate clothing, shoes that can get wet, a hat, snacks/food (no Cheetos), drinks, sun protection, insect repellent, and a wallet with some cash for potential stops.
Tipping isn’t required, but the operator suggests tipping your captain in cash. Their guideline is 15% to 25%.
Wildlife sightings and the route can vary with weather and animal behavior. If you purchase the optional Bad Weather Guarantee, it covers major storms or hurricanes that cancel your tour; it is non-refundable and cannot be added after booking.
Captains Lane, Jeremy, and the rest of the crew here have built a strong reputation for making people feel genuinely looked after on the water. Tours range from dolphin and sandbar excursions to a pub crawl that somehow manages to be fun even in a rainstorm. Guests consistently mention knowledgeable guides who share local history, take photos, and never rush the experience. Wildlife sightings, including manatees, sharks, stingrays, and dolphins, come up again and again, suggesting the captains know exactly where to go. Repeat bookings tell their own story, with several families already planning a third or fourth trip. The booking process gets praised as smooth and accommodating, and the relaxed, unhurried pace on the water seems to resonate with most travelers. A few one-off complaints exist in the reviews, but they read as isolated and don't reflect the overwhelming pattern here. For a day on the water around Anna Maria Island, this crew is hard to beat.
Crystal’s AMI Boat tours was great! This was our first time on the island and we decided to book a sunset cruise the first night we were there. We’re so happy we did! Captain Lane was very accommodating, friendly and informative about all things AMI related! We had a relaxing boat ride and saw a beautiful sunset. Captain Lane was also able to give us great recommendations for restaurants and other things to do while we visited. I would highly recommend adding this to your itinerary if you’re visiting AMI! You won’t regret it!
