Know before you go
- Guests must be age 7 or older
- Check in at Julie's Dream Winery 30 minutes before sunrise; the exact time is sent the evening before
- All guests must weigh under 280 lbs
- Guests over 220 lbs pay a $99 weight fee at check-in
- Guests must stand unassisted for the 2–3-hour tour and be able to step into the basket
- Pregnant guests cannot fly
- Groups of 4 or more must prepay a mandatory $25 per-person gratuity
- Holiday and holiday-weekend bookings have a non-refundable $75 per-person surcharge
- Flights may be canceled for unsafe weather; canceled flights may be rescheduled based on availability, with no refund
Cancellation Policy
Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours (2 full business days) ahead for 1–2 guests, or 72 hours (3 full business days) ahead for 3 or more. Late cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling. Weather cancellations may be rescheduled based on availability; no refunds are issued.
FAQs
You must be able to stand on your own throughout the 2–3-hour tour and hop into the basket, which has no door. A stool can be provided if requested ahead of time. Babies, dogs, and guests who cannot stand independently cannot fly.
All guests are weighed at check-in for safety and balance. If your reported weight is inaccurate and you cannot be accommodated on the Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Tour, your flight may be considered redeemed with no refund.
Photos and videos may be taken for promotional use. Let the team know before the tour if you do not want to be photographed.
