Explore Galveston's bay at sunset in a single or tandem kayak. The experience is available as a tour or rental; rentals do not include a guide.
Itinerary
We leave the dock about two hours before sunset and we will get out to the bay about the time the sun begins its evening show. Bring your favorite beverage and we'll toast the end of another beautiful island day.
After we meet we will give you some basic water safety and paddling instructions and explain the route. Then we will help you into the kayaks, hopefully making the transition from land to water smoothly. As we leave the dock area we will begin to see some of the many different types of wildlife that inhabit our bay area on the land and in the water.

Important details
- Single kayaks: ages 16+ only, with a weight limit of 275 lbs
- Tandem kayaks: passengers ages 5+ only, with a combined weight limit of 450 lbs
- Activities depend on weather and tide conditions
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requires at least 1 hour's notice before your scheduled time. If your tour is canceled due to weather, you'll be notified at least 3 hours before launch and can reschedule or receive a refund.

Wear quick-dry clothing and water-friendly shoes; dress in layers in cooler weather. Bring water or your favorite beverage, a snack, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a camera or phone for photos, and a towel for the ride home if you get wet.
