Sail Biscayne Bay at sunset on a spacious catamaran
2 hours
Sunset cruise, Music, Restrooms
Cruise past the Miami skyline as the sun sets over Biscayne Bay or South Beach. Settle in on a comfortable catamaran with music, covered seating, and onboard restrooms.
No outside alcohol is permitted onboard. The boat is not wheelchair accessible. Only cash is accepted onboard.
All sales are final unless you buy refundable tickets. Refundable tickets: cancel or reschedule up to 3 hours before departure; no changes within 3 hours. If Tropical Sailing cancels for any reason, you can reschedule or get a refund.
Arrive at least 45 minutes before departure to check in. If you have not checked in at least 15 minutes before the posted departure time, your seat may be resold and you will not receive a refund due to tardiness.
Do not bring outside alcohol onboard (Florida state laws and insurance regulations prohibit it). You can bring your own food and soft drinks, but do not bring glass bottles. The operator discourages coolers and recommends a small bag.
Bring cash if you plan to buy anything onboard, because only cash is accepted on the boat.
Miami
Tropical Sailing delivers consistently excellent experiences on the water, with their crew earning particular praise across the board. Captains like Jim, John, Adam, and Alex work alongside first mates Maria, Marcos, Joe, Jon, and Ivy to create a welcoming, family-like atmosphere that keeps guests coming back year after year. The staff strikes that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, keeping drinks flowing and ensuring everyone stays safe, even when unexpected thunderstorms roll in. The sailing trips themselves offer nice variety, from sunset cruises to snorkeling adventures when conditions allow. When the water's calm enough, they bring out fun water toys and provide plenty of snorkel gear for everyone. Guests mention feeling genuinely cared for rather than just processed through a tour, with crew members going the extra mile to make special occasions like bachelorette parties memorable. The laid-back vibe and reasonable prices for drinks and snacks add to the appeal, making this a solid choice for groups of all ages looking for time on the water in Fort Lauderdale.
