Itinerary
- Arrive 15 minutes before the tour
- Check in with office staff
- Get ready to kayak: Use the changing room, restroom, and put your personal gear in our cubbies, fill your water bottle, put sunblock
- Meet your Guide in the backyard to receive a PFD (lifejacket), Paddle.
- Head down to the waters edge for safety first start and basic instruction or "Ground School"
- Launch into the Folly River alongside your guides
- Practice your new kayak skills near the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins.
- Take a water break at the half way point in the river
- Your Guide will give an eco talk about the amazing dolphins feeding technique "Strand Feeding" and other wildlife within the ecosystem
- At low tide, we visit a private beach
- Refill your water back at our shop

Important details
- Wear flip-flops or water shoes
- Single kayaks are for ages 13+
- Children ages 12 and under must ride in a tandem kayak with at least one participant age 13+
- Carolina single sit-in kayaks have a maximum height of 6'2" and weight of 225 lbs
- Pescador single sit-on-top kayaks have a maximum height of 6'6" and weight of 375 lbs
- A 4% custom tax applies and is not included in the listed price
- If no one else has signed up at the tour start, a single kayak becomes a private tour with an additional $30 charge not included in the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour. Full refund if the operator cancels due to unsafe weather or conditions.
FAQs
Wear flip flops or water shoes (required). Bring a water bottle, sunblock, a swimsuit, a hat, and sunglasses.
Single kayaks are for ages 13+. Children 12 and under must ride in a tandem kayak, and at least one participant in the tandem must be age 13 or older.
Gratuity is not included. Tips for guides are welcomed (cash, credit, or Venmo).
