- Bring at least 1 quart (1 liter) of water, sunscreen or a hat, sunglasses with a strap, insect repellent, a towel, and a change of clothes
- Bring a raincoat or waterproof jacket if rain is forecast
- Complete a waiver before arrival; participants under 18 need a parent or legal guardian to sign
