PADL earns universal praise for its guides and staff, with Buddy, Stuart, and CJ getting shoutouts for being knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely friendly. People consistently mention how quickly the team gets you set up and on the water, whether you're bringing your own gear or renting theirs. The sunset tours seem particularly popular, with paddlers raving about the serene marsh views and the lack of crowds. The equipment gets high marks too. Reviewers love that the kayaks come with actual chairs instead of hard plastic seats, making longer trips comfortable. One reviewer mentioned staying out for four hours without issue. The location itself offers beautiful, peaceful paddling through marshes where you're likely to spot birds, crabs, and jumping fish. It's family-friendly and works well for all skill levels. Just note that one guest strongly recommends avoiding extremely low tides when water levels drop significantly, though the staff will help you time your trip right if you ask.
We did a one hour paddle with our 2 kids in tandem kayaks- lots of fun! Kids (11 & 9) were “done” by the end. Great experience! Fun morning paddle (9:30) no one else out (Monday am).
