These e-bike tours through the Scottsdale and Tempe area have earned a devoted following, and it's easy to see why. Guides like Bill, Travis, Chris, and Jordan consistently earn praise for their local knowledge, friendly pacing, and ability to keep riders comfortable regardless of experience level. Routes typically wind through Tempe Town Lake, Papago Park, and surrounding greenbelt trails, with stops at spots like Hole in the Rock for photos and short hikes along the way. The tours work well for a surprisingly wide range of groups, from multigenerational families to groups of teenagers to couples looking for a scenic outing. The RAD Powerbikes are well-maintained and handle inclines easily, which reviewers note makes longer rides accessible even for first-timers. For those concerned about summer heat, sunset tours have been a popular and practical solution. Booking is straightforward, and the team is communicative throughout the process.

What people are saying

This is a great way to see the Area…We had Bill for our guide, five of five for the service, the tour, our guide and the equipment. Reservations -easy, communication - great, value - outstanding. If you read my reviews you know I don’t give five stars, that must be earned. We met at their shop and discovered we will be riding RAD Powerbikes. They were in great shape and we just did a couple adjustments. We ride bikes almost everyday day so we just took a couple laps of the parking lot to get comfortable and then we were off. On our 27 mile journey we went all over town, parks, golf courses, art installations and more. Bill was very good to explain what to expect and how to navigate each segment. We stopped a number of times for photos and Bill shared interesting tidbits about things we were seeing. Just the right balance of riding, talking, photos, etc. We even got a short hike in when we stopped at hole in the rock. On our ride, Bill led the way and we safely navigated trails and bike paths all over town, perhaps multiple towns. So glad we took a tour with a guide, lots of trails and lots to see and we never got lost. The sights are the sights and the trails are the trails. What made this a five star experience was the service and especially our guide. If you are looking for a great ride, give them a call and even ask for Bill…you won’t be disappointed…
