This ghost tour operation has built a solid reputation with guides like Emily, David, Erika, and India earning consistent praise for their historical knowledge and engaging personalities. Most guests appreciate that everyone gets their own ghost hunting equipment (EMF readers, spirit boxes, dowsing rods), which adds an interactive element that keeps things interesting throughout the evening. The tours cover various Phoenix and Tempe locations, with many visitors reporting genuine paranormal experiences and fascinating local history they'd never heard before, even longtime residents. A couple of reviews point to organizational hiccups worth noting. One guest had trouble locating the meeting point and felt rushed through the experience with staff creating artificial scares, while another mentioned lack of clarity about walking distances and logistics like parking. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than patterns, but it's worth knowing the tours involve outdoor walking in downtown areas. The overwhelming majority of guests had authentic, well-paced experiences with knowledgeable guides who balance spooky storytelling with historical context. The tours typically end at a speakeasy, which guests consistently enjoy as a fun way to wrap up the evening.
This tour was great. My first official ghost tour. Our host Emily provided Us with ghost hunting tools. We had Spirit boxes, EMF readers and dousing rods. The stories and history of these haunted places were told with such passion. The spirits came out to let us know that they were there. Most of them seemed pleased their story was being told. Melinda from the alleyway seemed to take a liking to me. I stood next to the guy with the dowsing rods and she pointed right at me it was a little bit creepy. But I moved back to the spirit box holder and someone asked if she liked me or I would have been her friend had I known her and it was a resounding yes. my EMF reader was going crazy the whole time we were in that alley. Highly recommend. side note: We passed another ghost hunting tour group as we were leaving the Renaissance. It made me happy I picked the tour I did because people looked extremely bored.
