Itinerary

Meet your experienced guides in the large gravel parking lot in downtown Clayton (348 East Main Street). After a brief safety meeting, we do some quick orientation rides to make sure everyone feels comfortable on the bikes.

Once we embark as a group from there, we begin our easy ride to a couple of historic local spots. Shortly after that (about an hour into the tour) we stop for a delicious lunch at a hidden gem authentic Mexican restaurant for tacos. Food is included in the tour for no additional charge.

After tacos, we continue on the famous NC Greenway trail for some exhilarating trail riding, with some additional scenic and historic stops along the way. Ultimately circling back and ending where we started, where there is a free margarita waiting for you at a speakeasy-style craft cocktail bar!

Expect to learn about local heroes, moonshining, cotton mills, NASCAR, Native Americans, the Mountains to Sea Trail, play alcohol trivia... and much more!

For anyone that likes a fun e-bike ride, some beautiful scenery, local history, and delicious food and drink... this tour is for you.

• Confident bike riders required; e-bikes are heavier than standard bikes
• No physical or health conditions that inhibit riding ability
• Sign a waiver on the day of the tour acknowledging the risks of e-bike riding
• Alcohol is available only to travelers age 21+; bring a valid driver's license or government ID if requested
• No outside alcohol or pre-drinking before the tour
• Visible intoxication prohibits e-bike operation and may result in refused service
• If service is refused during the tour because of misconduct or intoxication, return transportation is at your expense; this charge is not included in the listed price
• Dress for the weather; tours do not operate during thunderstorms or when temperatures are below 50°F
• Bike or equipment damage may result in charges up to $500, not included in the listed price
