Know before you go
- Arrive 10 minutes before your reservation to gear up
- Ages 3+ only; children ages 3–12 must paddle with a parent or guardian
- Ages 13–15 may paddle together with a parent or guardian accompanying them on the water
- Ages 16–17 may paddle alone, with a parent or guardian signing the required risk form
- Adults must sign an Acknowledgement & Assumption of Risk Form
- Stay within the 490 lb total weight limit for the tandem kayak
- Plan for rain; rentals proceed rain or shine
Cancellation Policy
If severe weather shortens your rental by more than 30 minutes, receive a full refund or move your booking to a future date.
FAQs
Each tandem kayak allows up to 2 adults and 1 child, with a 490 lb total weight limit. A jump seat for a third paddler is available at North Park.
A parent or guardian must sign an Acknowledgement & Assumption of Risk Form for paddlers ages 3–17.
An optional Rainy-day Guarantee is available for rentals booked at least 3 days in advance. It provides automatic reimbursement if rain is forecast to impact your experience; regular rain does not qualify for a rental refund.
