Know before you go
- Meet at Goodland Boat Park and arrive 30–45 minutes before departure
- Pay the $10 parking fee at the lot; parking is limited
- Minimum of 4 booked guests is required or the tour may be cancelled and refunded
- Guests must be able to board and disembark the boat and walk on uneven sand in shallow water
- Expect feet to get wet from ankle to knee depth; wear appropriate footwear
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Disclose health conditions before the trip and follow captain safety instructions
- All guests must disembark during shelling stops
- No smoking or aerosol sunscreen on the vessel
- Weather and tide conditions may affect destinations; the captain makes safety decisions
- Return to the boat at the assigned time; delayed departures incur a $30 per-person fee
- An automatic 18% gratuity applies to parties of 6 or more
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are charged in full. Cancellations within 14 days without rebooking are charged 50%. Cancellations 14 days or less before Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's are not refunded.
FAQs
You must be able to step in and out of the boat, walk on uneven sand, and move through shallow water. Expect water from ankle to knee depth at times. Children under 16 must stay with a parent or guardian.
Bring 2–3 bottles of water and at least one electrolyte drink per person, a snack, shell bucket or bag, water shoes or sneakers, a hand rake, bug spray, towel, non-aerosol sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and rain gear from June through October. Bring only a small soft cooler.
The captain makes weather decisions based on safety, and destinations may change with weather or tide conditions. If the operator cancels for weather, you will not be charged and may be offered rescheduling. The tour may also be cancelled and refunded if fewer than four people are booked.
