- Arrive 30–45 minutes before departure
- A minimum of 4 people is required for the tour to operate
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Requires stepping in and out of the boat, walking on uneven sand, and entering shallow water
- Expect wet feet, from ankle to knee deep at times
- All passengers must disembark during shelling stops
- Bring 2–3 bottles of water per person, an electrolyte drink, snacks, a shell bag or bucket, a hand rake, and water shoes or sneakers
- Medical conditions must be disclosed before the trip
- Smoking and aerosol sunscreen are not allowed on the vessel
- Captain safety decisions determine weather-related changes and shelling destinations
- A $30 per-person late-return fee applies if a delayed return holds up departure; this fee is not included in the listed price
- Parties of 6 or more have an automatic 18% gratuity that is not included in the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are charged in full. Cancel within 48 hours and rebook immediately for the same month with no penalty; canceling the rebooked trip is charged in full. Cancellations within 14 days without rebooking are charged 50%. No refunds for holiday-week cancellations within 14 days. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather.

You must be able to step in and out of the boat, walk on uneven sand, and move through shallow water. Expect water from ankle to knee depth at times. Children under 16 must stay with a parent or guardian.
Bring 2–3 bottles of water and at least one electrolyte drink per person, a snack, shell bucket or bag, water shoes or sneakers, a hand rake, bug spray, towel, non-aerosol sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and rain gear from June through October. Bring only a small soft cooler.
The captain makes weather decisions based on safety, and destinations may change with weather or tide conditions. If the operator cancels for weather, you will not be charged and may be offered rescheduling. The tour may also be cancelled and refunded if fewer than four people are booked.
