Explore Ten Thousand Islands on a 4-Hour Shelling Tour

Set out from Goodland Boat Park for four hours of guided shelling in the Ten Thousand Islands. Your Master Naturalist captain helps you explore barrier islands while learning responsible shelling practices.

Know before you go

• Meet at Goodland Boat Park, 750 Palm Point Drive, and arrive 30–45 minutes early
• Tours may be canceled and refunded if fewer than four people are booked
• All guests must safely board and disembark the boat and may get wet in ankle- to knee-deep water
• All guests must disembark during shelling stops and walk on uneven sand and shallow water
• Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Notify the operator before the trip of any medical conditions
• Bring water, an electrolyte drink, snacks, a shell bag or bucket, water shoes or sneakers, and a hand rake
• No smoking or aerosol sunscreen is allowed on the vessel
• Parking at the lot costs $10 and space is limited
• Return to the boat at the captain-assigned time; delayed departures incur a $30 per person fee
• Parties of six or more are subject to an automatic 18% gratuity
• The captain makes weather decisions for safety; weather and tides may affect destinations
