Important details
- Children ages 5 and younger require at least one accompanying adult on the hike
- Senior-rate eligibility: ages 55+; bring valid identification
- Student-rate eligibility: college students only; bring a valid college student ID
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before the hike; cancellations with less notice do not receive a full refund. Thunderstorms and extreme weather cause cancellation. If the operator cancels for weather or unforeseen circumstances, choose a full refund or donate your fee to Greenwell Foundation. You'll be notified at least two hours before the hike.

Each winter hike has a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 15 participants.
Park in the pavilion parking lot.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and layers. Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, and a hat. A camera and binoculars are also suggested.
