Explore two captain-selected reef sites in John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Your captain selects sites based on daily wind, current, and visibility, and dives are unguided unless you add a guide.
- Explore coral gardens and reef systems from near the surface to about 40 feet
- Discover changing reef locations that may include Molasses Reef or the Christ of the Abyss
- Look for tropical fish, sea turtles, nurse sharks, rays, and barracudas

Itinerary
- AM trips: Check in at Scuba-Fun Dive Center at 7:00 AM. PM trips: Check in at 12:00 PM
- Gear fitting and safety briefing on the dock
- Board the boat — departure approximately 45 minutes after check-in
- Boat ride to first reef site (approximately 35 minutes)
- First dive — approximately 45–60 minutes bottom time depending on depth and air
- Surface interval on the boat — captain repositions to second site
- Second dive — approximately 45–60 minutes
- Boat ride back to the dive center. AM return approximately 12:00 PM, PM return approximately 5:00 PM

Important details
- Ages 10+ only; children ages 10+ need a certified parent or guardian
- Valid Open Water or equivalent scuba certification and a logged dive within the past 24 months required
- Bring your certification card or digital proof for check-in
- Check in by 7:00 AM for morning trips or 11:45 AM for afternoon trips; arrivals after 7:20 AM or 12:05 PM are late
- Solo divers and divers requiring one based on certification level, age, or recent experience must use a guide
- Guide fees are not included: $15 per diver for a group guide, $40 per diver for a semi-private guide, or $65 for a solo guide
- Requires climbing the boat ladder unassisted
- Pregnancy excludes participation; severe back or neck conditions, recent surgery, and heart problems are not recommended
- Complete a liability waiver and medical questionnaire before diving
- Arrange your own transportation between the dive center and marina
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 24 hours before check-in for 1–4 people, 72 hours for 5–10, or 7 days for 11+. Refunds are minus a 3.5% administrative fee; cancellations within 48 hours also incur a $25-per-person fee. Late cancellations, late arrivals, and no-shows are nonrefundable. Receive a full refund if unsafe sea conditions cancel the trip.
