The guides here are the real story. Names like Jake, Zee, Lucas, Garrett, and Justin come up again and again, with reviewers consistently praising their knowledge, friendliness, and ability to keep things both safe and genuinely fun. First-timers especially seem to leave feeling like they had the perfect introduction to the sport, with several mentioning that nerves quickly gave way to excitement once they were out on the water. Beyond just rafting, the operation also offers e-bike rentals along the Allegheny Passage, which a couple of reviewers raved about as a completely different but equally enjoyable way to spend the day. The Lower and Upper Yough tours both get strong marks, and the overall experience feels well-organized without being overly rigid. One reviewer did note the jokes on the ride back got a little old, but that's about as critical as the feedback gets. With consistently high ratings across a large number of reviews, this is clearly a well-run outfit that takes both safety and fun seriously. If you're planning a trip, it's worth requesting a specific guide since regulars clearly have their favorites.
We had a great trip - we were seamlessly going through the best spots on the rapids and avoiding the rocks that would trip you up, and I realized that it was because of our guide Jake, who was highly experienced. He said you could ask for him on any next trips and I definitely would 🙂
