Get help applying for the U.S. Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), with a dedicated specialist handling your application. If approved, your authorization normally allows multiple visits of up to 90 days each over two years, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
Important details
- Eligibility requires a Republic of China ordinary chip passport bearing an ID number and eligibility for the U.S. Visa Waiver Program. Your passport must have more than 6 months of validity remaining.
- This service applies only to travel to the United States on flights departing from Taiwan.
- If your authorization is rejected, an additional TWD150 handling fee applies and is not included in the listed price.
- Prepare a copy of your passport, full-size copies of both sides of your ID card, and the personal information required for the application. Do not submit re-photographed ID copies. For children under 14 without an ID card, prepare a copy of the household registration book instead.
- Prepare a digital 2-inch color photo in JPG format with a white background. Use a different photo from your passport photo, without sunglasses, a hat or a mask.
- Check your information carefully before submission. Once entered, it cannot be changed; corrections require a new application.
- A new application is required if you get a new passport, change your name, gender or nationality, or if your previous application answers are no longer correct.
- Processing begins only when all required documents are complete. Incomplete information causes delays; weekends and national holidays do not count toward processing time.
- Wait until your authorization has been processed before arranging flights, accommodation or other travel.
